Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our adult and geriatric clients in their homes. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans that promote optimal physical well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in achieving their physical therapy goals through treatment, testing, and education
  • Work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
