We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at the Augusta Mill, a state-of-the-art paperboard manufacturing facility. As a key member of our maintenance organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process to identify and implement actionable steps to prevent recurrence.
- Track equipment-related downtime data to identify opportunities for improvement with area stakeholders.
- Analyze downtime and lead reliability improvement efforts related to significant and/or chronic failures.
- Develop and utilize key reliability metrics to consistently review performance.
- Maintain a reliability improvement plan for departmental machinery.
- Ensure critical reliability improvement projects and repair job plans are within budget.
- Implement reliability improvements into routine and major outage work scopes.
- Provide oversight for mill lubrication plans.
- Own mill-wide responsibility of some critical reliability systems.
- BS Degree in Engineering (preferred) or demonstrated equivalent practical/technical experience.
- 5+ years reliability experience in an industrial maintenance organization. Paper industry and/or power & recovery experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of reliability concepts and application.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to create and sustain change.
- Demonstrated ability to engage a workforce and strong interpersonal skills.
