Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Integrated Water Services (IWS) is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all aspects of jobsite management, including set up, staffing, safety, and project execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct supervision of all field personnel, service, and construction projects.
  • Creates, maintains, and executes the project plan and schedule, ensuring compliance with budget and quality.
  • Liaises between field engineers, estimators, and subcontractors to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborates with jobsite foreman on daily activities and overall project plan.
  • Inspects projects for quality and compliance with building/safety codes and/or regulations.
  • Communicates daily with project managers, contractors, and/or design professionals to resolve construction problems and provide progress updates.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a foreman or other supervisor role.
  • Minimum of 5 years' construction experience, preferably in the water, wastewater, or heavy civil construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience in construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, and methods and procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Understanding of project scope and ability to apply intermediate-complex engineering principles and embed solutions in construction plans and schedules.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple scopes of a construction project, including scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating trade contractors with three-week lookahead schedules.
