PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS) is a leader in mental health, with over 30 years of dedicated service to patients in nursing homes, assisted living, and other long-term care facilities. We are a growing team of 100+ highly qualified psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, licensed psychologists, and clinical social workers across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LCSW-C) or Psychologist to join our team and provide psychotherapy services at our partner facilities. This role offers an opportunity for meaningful, flexible, and autonomous work while making a significant impact on the lives of seniors in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and family counseling to clients in nursing homes, assisted care, and other long-term care facilities.
  • Consult, educate, and coordinate care with facility staff, including nursing home administrator, director of nursing, and director of social services.
  • Adhere to established regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment.

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care.
  • State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LCSW-C) or Psychologist.
  • Availability to work during normal, weekday business hours (no night or weekend calls).
  • Ability to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds.
