Job Title: General Maintenance Technician

This is a part-time position that requires a candidate with experience in inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems for any issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in professional interior painting and drywall repairs, as well as schedule repairs for faulty equipment or damaged structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist HVAC and electrical mechanics in performing preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, examining for wear and tear, and making required repairs as needed.
  • Perform PM tasks on items such as roof drains, shop cleanup, and all other assigned areas.
  • Adhere to applicable state and local safety rules.
  • Assist and perform with activities such as painting and priming of interior and exterior walls, hanging and finishing sheetrock, hanging white boards, installing fixtures, etc.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One (1+) years' experience in general maintenance and/or a combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills such as internet, email, electronic manual, etc.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification.
Compensation Range:

$26.00-$30.00 per hour

Required after Conditional Offer of Employment:
  • Verification of Work Authorization and Employment Eligibility.
  • Substance Abuse Screening.
  • Physical Exam (if applicable).
  • Background Checks for Badging/Security Clearances (required).
