Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI. As a Registered Nurse on our 2S Telemetry unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients on the telemetry unit.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to identify potential issues and take proactive steps to prevent complications.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Graduate of an approved professional nursing program
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and populations
