Dishroom Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Associate to join our team at HRA. As a key member of our food and beverage department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene.

• Dishwashing and Sanitation: Perform dishwashing, pot washing, and general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining room area.
• Trash Control and Maintenance: Assist in putting away and maintaining the storage of food and non-food products, and ensure the proper disposal of trash and recyclables.
• Equipment Maintenance: Set up and maintain the pot and dish washing area, and distribute and store clean pots, dishes, and utensils.
• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Assisting with Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food as directed by supervisor, and notify supervisor of any malfunctioning kitchen equipment or appliances.
• Leading by Example: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen, and lead by example by exhibiting the CORE Values through servant leadership.

• Passion for Working with Seniors: Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens.
• Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and supervisors.
• Reliability and Punctuality: Must be prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis.
