Work Schedule:
6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday. Overtime may be necessary at various times throughout the year, typically on Fridays.

Compensation:
Starting pay is $17 per hour.

$18 after 90 days

Job Responsibilities:
Assemble products and components according to specifications while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining quality standards.

Key tasks include:

  • Interpreting blueprints, routers, specifications, and other instructions to accurately build and assemble parts and equipment.
  • Collaborating with team members on the assembly line under the supervision of a lead or supervisor.
  • Fastening parts together using bolts, clips, screws, or other methods as outlined in the process manual and work order instructions.
  • Maintaining efficiency, productivity, and quality standards within the department.
  • Adhering to established safety procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using various hand and air tools.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • The capability to read and comprehend blueprints, electronic schematics, and other manufacturing instructions.
  • An understanding of LEAN principles for continuous improvement.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculations and metric conversions.
  • Fluency in English, with the primary language used in the area of responsibility.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to:

  • Occasionally to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, and reach throughout a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Stand and/or walk consistently over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Lift and move average weights (25 to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) regularly, with occasional lifting of heavier materials (up to 70 lbs).
