Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Dresser Utility Solutions. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts in accordance with engineering drawings and work order cards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate conventional machine tools such as hobs, lathes, mills, and grinders to produce parts.
  • Transport materials using a forklift, if properly trained and certified.
  • Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules.
  • Perform routine and repetitive work on parts and details, following detailed instructions and guidance.
  • Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Perform minor preventive maintenance on machines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime.
  • Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General computer skills.
  • Initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to work in a shop environment for extended periods.
