Job Overview:

The Project Manager Specialist is a highly skilled professional responsible for leading the development of residential and commercial construction projects from planning to completion.


Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  3. Collaborate with external partners to secure necessary approvals and permits.
  4. Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  5. Communicate project updates and status to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  6. Ensure adherence to department policies and procedures.
  7. Review and implement design changes to optimize project outcomes.
  8. Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, including development of project specifications, bidding procedures, and clerk of works responsibilities.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) or equivalent design software.
  • Experience working with federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $29.10 to $39.25 per hour, based on the title, job description, and location.
