Interventional Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the interventional radiology department. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions and develop plans of care that reflect their physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental, and rehabilitative needs.
- Coordinate and take action on any requirements not met, ensuring quality customer service.
- Develop and implement plans of care based on patient assessments, reflecting their unique needs and goals.
- Assess and intervene in patient symptoms of pain, taking appropriate action according to standard operating procedure.
- Identify early warning signs of a change in patient condition and respond appropriately, including contacting responsible clinicians as indicated.
- Report pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to the appropriate multidisciplinary team member and record those observations accurately and concisely.
- Ensure that intervention or referrals are made promptly, and complete and submit all incident reports prior to the completion of each shift.
- Establish and maintain communication and utilize educational opportunities with patients and other significant individuals.
- Begin discharge planning, education, and counseling based on identified needs to optimize patient/family understanding.
- Assign or delegate responsibility for performance of nursing interventions to other persons within the scope of practice, education, and experience.
- Current active state license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 6 months of start date.
This is a full-time position with a normal shift schedule and on-call weekends.
