**About the Role**

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Instrumentation Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for integrating and programming new instrumentation data acquisition equipment, ensuring the success of our flight test programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate requirements and program new instrumentation data acquisition equipment, FTI fiber system, analog and digital signal conditioning hardware during integration and flight test.
  • Work independently or lead a team to execute project, schedule, and technical requirements to meet the goals of the test program.
  • Oversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems, ensuring collected data can be properly displayed, processed, and analyzed.
  • Maintain configuration control and mission capability of the instrumentation system and associated ground support equipment.
  • Responsible for specification, selection, design, integration, operation, and maintenance of airborne data acquisition systems and their related components.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • At least five years of related, professional experience.
  • Ability to develop, test, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems and other instrumentation devices.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process specifications.

Desired Skills:

  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well individually and with team members across multiple organizations.
  • Aircraft systems operations experience.
  • Previous experience with Curtiss-Wright, Safran, or similar instrumentation hardware and flight test instrumentation operations.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,200 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
