Key Responsibilities

As the Oncology Infusion Nurse Supervisor, you will:
  • Provide clinical oversight for nursing operations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and maintain effective coverage.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and quality assurance metrics.
  • Coordinate staff training and development programs.
  • Assist with performance evaluations for nursing staff.
  • Serve as a mentor and provide guidance to less experienced nurses.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree from an accredited nursing program, with BSN or MSN preferred.
  • A valid RN state license and current registration.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A minimum of five years of nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology.
  • Two years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Current or pending oncology certification is a plus.

Working Conditions

This role may involve exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions typical in an oncology setting.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform essential functions, including lifting and handling patients, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges are required.
