Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled LVN to provide exceptional nursing care to patients in our General Surgery Clinic. As an LVN, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician/advanced practice provider to deliver high-quality patient care. Your observational skills and ability to assist medical staff will be crucial in ensuring optimal care within established policies, procedures, and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months of direct patient care experience within the last three years, preferably in a medical office, acute care, home care services, or skilled nursing facility setting. A high school diploma or GED is required. Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic patient care in accordance with the patient's plan of care, as directed by a physician/advanced practice provider or Registered Nurse.
  • Transcribe orders accurately and efficiently, following hospital policy and procedure.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Administer medication safely and correctly, adhering to scope of practice and standing orders.
  • Perform various treatments, such as urinary catheterizations, IV placements, and wound care, while maintaining infection prevention and control protocols.
  • Assist with examinations and procedures, providing support and restraint to patients as needed.
  • Document patient care in Health Connect, adhering to policy, procedure, and protocol guidelines.
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-service programs, and continuing education to stay current on best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including orientation of new employees.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 12 months of direct patient care experience within the last three years.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and location. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
