We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment safely and properly.

About the Role:
  • Perform all exams using established protocols and facility policy for proper identification of patients.
  • Screen patients for any contrast allergies and educate patients concerning exams.
  • Operate all imaging equipment in a safe manner, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
  • Practice infection control standards and utilize approved personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant agents.
  • Complete required documentation for Radiologist support and perform clerical duties, including answering telephones and completing patient records.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent two years of experience in a related field.
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Science program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Completion of Radiologic Technology training and A.R.R.T. registration.
  • General Radiographer state license as required by state if applicable, KS LRT.
