Firefighter/EMT

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/EMT to join our team at the City of Dover Fire & Rescue. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical assistance, and conducting fire prevention inspections.

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to those in need
• Conduct fire prevention inspections of homes, businesses, and public places
• Operate fire equipment and apparatus, including firefighting vehicles and rescue equipment
• Participate in fire drills and training exercises to maintain proficiency in firefighting techniques
• Develop and present programs to the community on safety, first aid, and fire prevention topics
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, and the general public

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid vehicle operator's license
• NH license and nationally registered Advance Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) certification
• New Hampshire State Certified Firefighter Level II
• Candidates will be subjected to criminal and financial background checks
