Pediatric Dietitian Specialist

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Dietitian Specialist will be responsible for implementing nutritional care to patients within established standards of practice. This includes creating individual meal plans, providing nutrition education and counseling, and supervising meal times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized meal plans for pediatric patients with eating disorders
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families
  • Supervise meal times to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
  • Order and purchase food and nutrition group materials as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • 1 year of experience in pediatric nutrition or a related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
  • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) certification in Pennsylvania
