Alvin Community College is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Test Examiner in our Testing Center. As a Test Examiner, you will be responsible for preparing and administering examinations for various standardized tests, including High School Equivalency, TSIA2 Assessment, HESI, NLN, CLEP, and others.
Key Responsibilities- Examination Preparation: Prepare test materials, computer setup, and testing room setup to ensure a smooth and efficient testing experience.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to students, including welcoming them, assisting with questions, and ensuring a positive testing experience.
- Test Administration: Administer exams, read directions, respond to examinee questions, and time exams according to established protocols.
- Test Security: Maintain the integrity of exams by ensuring examinees follow testing rules and regulations.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record test scores, maintain files of score reports, and enter test results into the student database.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Testing Center.
- Education: Associate's degree or higher.
- Experience: Experience in proctoring or administering standardized exams, working in an educational environment, and working in an office environment.
- Certification: Certification to administer exams may be required.
- Skills: Computer proficiency, problem-solving, ability to handle multiple tasks, and ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
