Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Ambulatory OB team at Mayo Clinic. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our care team model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor.
  • Collect data through observation and communicate information to assist the RN and/or provider in patient assessment and care planning.
  • Participate as a member of the healthcare team and accept delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor and provider in meeting the needs of the patient/family.
  • Deliver care in accordance with the patient care plan, policies, and procedures of the organization and principles of relationship-based care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
  • One year of LPN experience working in an applicable setting is required.
  • Women's Health/OB experience is helpful.
  • Applicants must be detail-oriented, flexible in adjusting workload throughout the day, and have a foundation of working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year LPN experience within the last five years.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range is $22.27 - $31.91 per hour. Benefits eligible. 40 hours per pay period. Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts.
