Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an experienced Transportation Specialist to join our team in Benicia, CA. This role will involve delivering compressed gas cylinders and hard goods to customer locations while ensuring the safe and efficient execution of routes.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class A CDL and have at least 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from an accredited Truck Driving School. Additionally, they must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and meet all necessary qualifications as outlined below.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an estimated salary range of $23.88 - $35.03 hourly (commensurate with experience). Our comprehensive benefit plan includes medical, dental, vision, and more, along with a 401(k) retirement savings plan and paid time off.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day
  • Accurately counting and recording product quantities and styles
  • Completing hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identifying vehicle maintenance needs

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • At least 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from an accredited Truck Driving School
  • No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
  • No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 75 pounds
  • Effective organizational, listening, and communication skills
