About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at St. David's Healthcare at Home. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assessment, treatment, and program planning for patients with physical therapy needs.
  • Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Adapt treatment plans as needed, consulting with Physical Therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
