Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our team of surgical specialists. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized care plans
  • Provide surgical assistance in the operating room and clinic settings
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide wound care as needed
  • Collaborate with our team of surgeons and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in hospital rounds, patient education, and discharge planning
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices in surgical care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current Washington State Physician Assistant License and NCCPA certification
  • Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in surgery, preferably in an orthopedic setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced physical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, techniques, and instrumentation
