Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team on a 13-week contract assignment in MIDLAND, TX. As a Travel Endoscopy RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare organization and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide total patient care, including medication administration, orders, and treatments.
  • Assist physicians in performing special procedures, such as endoscopies.
  • Monitor cardiac and physical status of patients under your care, working closely with the Head Nurse and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in emergency nursing procedures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing techniques in Endoscopy Nursing and maintain a high level of expertise in critical care.
  • Provide leadership in the interpretation and application of the philosophy and objectives of nursing service in assigned areas.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient clinical records, execute physician orders, and keep abreast of changing patient conditions.
  • Administer treatments, including sterile procedures, and assist physicians with procedures and treatments.
  • Assist the Head Nurse or Charge Nurse in personnel work evaluation and provide guidance to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
  • Current state license by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Labor and Delivery in an acute care hospital within the last three years.
  • Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment.
