Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to work in our Cath Lab department.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular technology and excellent communication skills.
  • This is a travel assignment, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a new and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiograms and peripheral angiograms.
  • Operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment, including angiography machines and ultrasound devices.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, including education and discharge instructions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in cardiovascular technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
