Job Summary:

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in the Radiology department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations and providing patient care to all age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and be competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
  • Provide more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience, with one year in CT.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT).
  • Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • BLS certified.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The CT Technologist must be able to lift and move patients as needed, and to work in a team environment.
