Crew Leader Job Description

USA DeBusk, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Leader to lead our vacuum and hydro blasting services teams. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our crews, ensuring the safe and effective completion of hydro blasting and vacuuming jobs at industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach crew members, providing feedback and training to ensure the successful completion of job duties in accordance with company and client policies.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and able to hydro blast utilizing a shotgun.
  • Have general knowledge of all Hydro Blast Pumps (10K, 20K, 40K) and Liquid Vacuum and Air Machine Trucks.
  • Load out hydro blast and vacuum truck jobs, ensuring all necessary equipment is available to complete the required job scope safely and effectively.
  • Inspect all aspects of work from the jobsite to equipment before commencing work, completing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all applicable safety paperwork.
  • Ensure OSHA Safety rules and regulations are followed consistently, reporting any issues, concerns, or incidents to management.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely manner and by required deadlines.
  • Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, including washing and cleaning, and perform manual labor to complete tasks associated with service lines performed by USA DeBusk.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years' experience in Refinery or Construction (preferred).
  • Lead or Supervisory experience a plus.
  • Able to hydro blast utilizing a shotgun.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Must be capable of passing a urine drug screen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be capable of setting up equipment for the job, including lifting and carrying hoses that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to work at elevations and wear fall protection harnesses.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces for 4-7 hours per day; stand or walk for long periods.
