IT Manager

At Batteries Plus, we are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our software and services, overseeing a team providing first-tier support for store applications and point of sale systems, and driving the development of application support processes.

• Analyze and resolve problems reported by users and customers, identifying and addressing the root causes of application system failures.
• Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to review backlog items assigned to the IT Applications Support Team, ensuring that the team is aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and implement operational policies and processes to improve business application support, establishing and managing service-level agreements for escalated support incidents.
• Manage the use of store applications, ensuring best practices are followed and that technology is used effectively to support the business.
• Monitor call database trends, analyzing call and problem data to inform support processes and improve customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and applications, with prior exposure to Google GSuite and Antivirus platform management.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to independently handle multiple projects and tasks, and a strong customer service focus.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and in a team environment, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• The position requires regular sitting, use of hands to handle or touch, talking, hearing, and occasional lifting up to twenty-five pounds.
• Special vision requirements include close vision.
• This position requires regular use of a computer, copier, fax machine, and other standard office equipment.
