Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Administrator. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospice locations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

  • Lead and manage a team of interdisciplinary professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

  • Manage financial resources effectively, ensuring compliance with budgetary requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote the growth and development of our services.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to inform operational decisions and improve patient outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, maintaining a culture of quality and excellence within our organization.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with industry developments and best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

  • Provide education and training to staff, patients, and families on various topics related to hospice care and services.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and services, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice nursing in the state of employment, if applicable.

  • CPR certification.

  • Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license.

  • Ability to effectively operate computer, facsimile equipment, copier, and cell phone.

  • Ability to maintain transportation for work-related purposes.

  • Minimum one year management/supervisory experience required.

  • Two or more years' experience in hospice/home care required.

  • Three years' experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting preferred.

  • Three to five years healthcare sales/management experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.

  • Master's degree in business, nursing, or related field preferred.
