Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Administrator. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospice locations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Lead and manage a team of interdisciplinary professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Manage financial resources effectively, ensuring compliance with budgetary requirements and regulatory standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote the growth and development of our services.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to inform operational decisions and improve patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, maintaining a culture of quality and excellence within our organization.
Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with industry developments and best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Provide education and training to staff, patients, and families on various topics related to hospice care and services.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and services, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the growth and development of our organization.
Requirements
Current license to practice nursing in the state of employment, if applicable.
CPR certification.
Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license.
Ability to effectively operate computer, facsimile equipment, copier, and cell phone.
Ability to maintain transportation for work-related purposes.
Minimum one year management/supervisory experience required.
Two or more years' experience in hospice/home care required.
Three years' experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting preferred.
Three to five years healthcare sales/management experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
Master's degree in business, nursing, or related field preferred.
