Froedtert South is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of Departmental Leadership, the Radiology Technologist will participate in the day-to-day operational coverage of imaging services for all Froedtert South locations. The successful candidate will perform routine and minor special radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental/hospital policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiographic and ancillary equipment, including fluoroscopy and portable x-rays.
  • Administer contrast materials and medications as dictated by exam protocols.
  • Assist with the coverage of the department and ancillary areas 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or a graduate of an accredited certification program.
  • Licensure to practice as a Licensed Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin.
  • ARRT registration and current BLS and/or CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in radiologic technology.
  • Knowledge of secretarial functions and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
