Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced ICU RNs to join our team in an area where patients have advanced illnesses or injuries that require timely, intense, and complex care. As an intensive care unit registered nurse, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and advocate for patients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer patient care in an ICU setting, utilizing information and assessment data to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to effectively plan and manage patient care
- Develop and revise individualized plans of care based on patient needs and responses
- Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Maintains current State of Alabama RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas
