Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food service is provided to our residents and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, following established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
  • Provide positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Specialized training in food service is desirable.
  • Current ServSafe certification is required by State/County law.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
