Position Overview:
The Clinical Nurse Leader provides clinical care aligned with AHWONN standards and CVMC nursing policies. This role involves coordinating assignments and staffing to foster a positive work environment.
Responsibilities include assessing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
The Clinical Nurse Leader will also mentor colleagues to enhance their professional growth and skill development.Additionally, this position requires continuous assessment of unit needs to ensure sufficient resources for current and future shifts, collaborating with various departments to manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges efficiently.
Professionalism is paramount, and the Clinical Nurse Leader will uphold practice standards by ensuring team accountability for compliance.
Essential Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
1 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
An active AZ or Compact RN License is mandatory.
ACLS and NRP certifications must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
