Job Responsibilities

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor will:

Oversee daily clinical nursing functions to uphold hospital standards and meet operational needs. Manage the preparation and assessment of nursing staff activities and schedules to guarantee continuous coverage. Act as the managerial and clinical liaison between the Nurse Manager and/or Department Director during their absence and the on-call administrator. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and support staff to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for patients and their families by fostering meaningful relationships through safety interventions, emotional support, and education.

Qualifications:

Strong commitment to Nursing Leadership Minimum of 3 years of acute care clinical RN experience Previous experience in house-wide Nursing Supervision; critical care or emergency nursing experience is preferred 2-5 years of leadership or healthcare management experience is preferred Familiarity with hospital and nursing policies, regulatory agency requirements, and staffing pattern establishment. Ability to manage high-pressure situations and apply professional judgment to resolve administrative and operational challenges. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory. Compensation

Salary range: USD - USD /Hr.
