Transportation Specialist

As a Driver with the Southcentral Foundation (SCF), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of customer-owners. This position requires a thorough understanding of the cultures and needs of the primary population served by SCF, comprised of Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe transportation of customer-owners, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Meet the qualifications outlined in the job description, including a valid Alaska driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Understand and respect the cultural needs of the population served by SCF.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Alaska driver's license.
- Good driving record, with no more than three moving traffic violations or two at-fault traffic accidents in the past three years.
Native Preference:
SCF pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training. Employees must receive certification from SCF Human Resources before receiving preference.
Employee Health Requirements:
Compliance with SCF's Employee Health procedure is a condition of employment. Employees must agree to comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to their first day of employment.
