About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at TotalMed. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in condition promptly.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care instructions, medication management, and recovery expectations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
