Certified Nurse Midwife Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Prenatal Care: Provide routine prenatal visits, prenatal testing, and education on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
- Birth Support: Attend births as the primary provider, providing labor support, monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, and facilitating a safe and empowering birth experience.
- Postpartum Care: Provide postpartum visits, breastfeeding support, and newborn care.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated care for pregnant and postpartum women.
- On-Call Coverage: Participate in on-call coverage schedule, providing first-call coverage for a minimum of 7 days per month.
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing with certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Texas.
- Clinical Experience: Clinical experience practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
- Clinical Skills: Strong clinical skills and proficiency in providing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women and newborns.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-Centered Care: Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and promoting women's health and wellness.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Competitive Salary: Competitive salary of $120,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Clinic Days: 4.5 clinic days per week.
