About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Hillcrest Hospital South. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, ensuring accurate and safe delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining the imaging procedure and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Maintain high standards of imaging and positioning to acquire quality scans, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS Computer System, ensuring seamless integration with our healthcare technology.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our patient care services.
  • Assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the operation of the department, supporting the overall success of our team.
Requirements
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.) or be a graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be registry eligible.
  • Must be available for 24-hour call back with a 60-minute response time, ensuring prompt and effective response to patient needs.
