The ideal candidate will be flexible and possess exceptional problem-solving capabilities. As a Senior Restoration Technician, your role will involve leading teams in the repair of properties affected by disasters such as water, fire, or mold. You will plan restoration projects, supervise technicians, ensure safety protocols are followed, and maintain communication with clients and insurance representatives to facilitate efficient and effective property restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to incidents of water damage.
- Execute water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes to prevent further damage.
- Conduct detailed inspections and evaluations to identify restoration requirements.
- Assist in implementing mold remediation procedures in line with IICRC and industry standards, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
- Safely remove and dispose of contaminated materials.
- Coordinate post-remediation testing to confirm successful mold eradication.
- Professionally manage asbestos removal projects in accordance with IICRC guidelines.
- Ensure safe disposal of asbestos-containing materials.
- Oversee fire damage restoration efforts, including debris removal and cleanup.
- Utilize IICRC-recommended techniques to clean and restore properties impacted by fire, smoke, and soot.
- Apply specialized methods to eliminate odors and restore structural integrity.
- Maintain precise records of restoration activities, adhering to IICRC documentation standards.
- Document project progress and communicate effectively with clients and project managers.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and fire damage restoration.
- Valid IICRC certification in relevant specialties.
- Familiarity with industry-specific tools, equipment, and techniques for effective restoration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, showcasing strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations pertinent to restoration work.
- Physical fitness and capacity to work in diverse environments and conditions.
