Job Overview
Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified Gastroenterology Physician to fill a temporary assignment in Chambersburg, PA. This opportunity offers the chance to work with a reputable healthcare facility and gain valuable experience in an inpatient setting.
Responsibilities
As a Gastroenterology Physician, you will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients, including performing endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, and colonoscopy. You will also be required to consult with other facilities and supervise APPs. The shift schedule includes two weeks of consecutive shifts followed by one week off, with night call responsibilities on specific days. Additionally, you will need to respond to phone calls within 30 minutes and manage patient volume of 10-12 patients per day.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have an active PA license and be board certified. Temporary privileges will be available, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered.
