Our team is passionate about providing exceptional support services to our clients, and we're looking for a skilled Residential Homeless Services Specialist to join us.

This is an on-call position that requires working Monday - Friday (overnight), and the successful candidate will have experience in social work, crisis intervention, or counseling.

As a key member of our Community Services Division team, you will be responsible for facility management, client treatment, and responding to the 24-hour crisis line.

You will also provide a range of counseling services, assess clients' eligibility for assistance, and work collaboratively with other staff and community agencies to ensure the needs of homeless clients are addressed with dignity and respect.

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility management, including implementation of daily routine and ensuring the facility meets health department and fire safety codes.
  • Client treatment, including providing counseling services, assessing clients' eligibility for assistance, and making referrals as necessary.
  • Responding to the 24-hour crisis line, using crisis intervention, assessment, diversion, and referral skills.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, with a focus on human services.
  • At least one year of experience providing direct service in social work, crisis intervention, or counseling.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work with individuals and families in crisis situations, as well as those from diverse ethnic, racial, and social backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in spoken English.
