Electrical Safety Lead Job Description

Rogers Electric Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Safety Lead to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for providing technical safety and health support and information to production and corporate personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Safety training for new employees at various locations, in varied conditions
  • Travel extensively for this role, with a focus on ensuring compliance with Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations
  • Prepare written safety and health programs and policies, and maintain corporate safety library
  • Identify company safety training needs and develop and coordinate safety training programs
  • Develop annual company safety and health goals, and monitor regulatory changes
  • Support corporate/field needs to implement engineering controls to minimize safety and occupational health hazards
  • Manage PPE inventory across the country, and maintain Safety Records via Quick Base database

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a safety science/engineering/industrial hygiene discipline or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, with a strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Ability to travel 100% is required, with a focus on ensuring compliance with Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations
  • OSHA 500 required, with experience using Construction Aerial, Industrial, and Earth Moving Equipment strongly preferred
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and through writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
