Key Responsibilities
  • Implement established therapy treatment plans and provide therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed therapist.
  • Document patient care according to professional standards and departmental guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement program development and professional growth activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies.
  • No experience required, but certification with the appropriate credentialing Board of the profession is preferred.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
Physical Demands

The Physical Therapist Assistant will frequently bend and stoop, and must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. The position may also involve exposure to blood and body fluids.
