Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Emergency Department team at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing with a current, valid license in the State of New Hampshire or Compact State.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to prioritize work and work independently with minimal supervision.
