Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Interim HealthCare Duluth, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and hygiene services to patients in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides, to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
- Support patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Monitor patient vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose levels, and document any changes or concerns.
- Notify supervisors of any issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Minnesota.
- Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in a medical facility.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
- Compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
