Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operator to join our team at Vulcan Materials Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant equipment and facilities.

• Promote a culture of safety throughout the operation, adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Operate plant equipment to regulate the flow of materials and maintain stockpile inventory.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of plant equipment, documenting items in need of repair or service.
• Monitor and review plant equipment systems to ensure continuous flow of materials and maintain certified products.
• Document and record information, assisting plant management with record keeping and daily production schedules.
• Repair and maintain plant equipment, including greasing, lubricating, and other minor repairs.

• Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• A basic knowledge of the concrete, cement, or construction industry is preferred.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours, as well as tolerate exposure to loud noises and varying weather conditions.
• Mechanical skills, including knowledge of industrial tools and their maintenance.
