Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at NANA Regional Corp in Big Lake, AK. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in the success of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure distances from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretch tight lines.
  • Bolt, nail, align, and block up under forms.
  • Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Mix concrete and smooth and finish freshly poured cement or concrete.
  • Position, join, align, and seal pipe sections, and erect scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
  • Mop, brush, or spread paints or bituminous compounds over surfaces for protection.
  • Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco through hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
  • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices.
  • Grind, sand, or polish surfaces such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring.
  • Demolish buildings, saw lumber, dismantle forms, remove projections from concrete, mount pipe hangers, and cut and attach insulating material.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum one (1) year construction laborer experience.
  • Driver's License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred.
