Job Summary:

The Tennessee Board of Regents is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Economics courses at our institution. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our students, maintaining a positive learning environment, and contributing to the growth and development of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics courses, including ECON 2100 and ECON 2200, to students at our institution.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and success.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and evaluate student performance on assignments and lab activities.
  • Assign midterm and final grades, and provide feedback to students on their progress.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of academic programs.
  • Comply with college policies and procedures, including those related to student support services and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Economics or 18 graduate semester hours in Economics.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
