Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Control Engineer to join our team at CEC Controls Company, Inc. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment, working on projects in Water/Wastewater and Power Plant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology and Programming:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of SCADA systems and PLC programming under the guidance of senior engineers.
    • Support basic configuration and troubleshooting of SCADA software and PLCs.
    • Gain hands-on experience with platforms like VTSCADA, Wonderware, iFix, WinCC, FactoryTalk View, and GE Cimplicity.
  • Design and Engineering:
    • Contribute to the review and interpretation of specifications, control drawings, and HMI screens.
    • Participate in the design and testing of control systems to meet project specifications.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Learning and Development:
    • Engage in ongoing learning to build expertise in industry standards such as ISA and UL 508A.
    • Attend training sessions and seek mentorship to enhance your technical skills in instrumentation and controls.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Achieved or working toward BS in Electrical Engineering, Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or equivalent expertise and experience.
    • 0+ years of experience in Instrumentation and Controls required.
  • Physical and Legal Requirements:
    • Ability to travel up to 25%.
    • Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship.
    • Able to climb a 2-story ladder.
    • Can walk a mile in 20 minutes.
    • Able to lift 30 lbs. while carrying a laptop.
