Job Summary

ENTEGRA is seeking a highly skilled Field Technician Trainee to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for building, testing, and setting up in-line inspection tools and support equipment under the direction of our Field Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety is the top priority in all tasks and processes
  • Follow documented procedures to build and prepare in-line inspection tools and support equipment
  • Assist in prepping, launching, and receiving in-line inspection tools
  • Clean, refurbish, and maintain in-line inspection tools after completion of a job
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as required
  • Transport in-line inspection tools and equipment to job sites
  • Accurately complete electronic and/or hardcopy job-related documents
  • Prepare expense reports for timely reimbursement
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savings
Requirements
  • Capable of using mechanical drawings and procedures to rebuild mechanical assemblies
  • Ability to use wiring diagrams and procedures to connect and rebuild cable assemblies
  • Expertise in using laptops and ability to learn proprietary software applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working alone and as a team depending on job requirements
  • Ability and drive to progress through Tool Operator Levels described in ANST Personnel Qualifications and Certifications for In-Line Inspection Technologies
Qualifications
  • Minimum: High School or equivalent
  • Preferred: 2-year College and/or Technical Electronic Degree
