Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at AFC Urgent Care Portland. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood and other specimens from patients for laboratory testing
- Prepare patients for blood draws and explain procedures to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience
- Work closely with medical assistants and other team members to provide excellent patient care and efficient clinic workflows
- Maintain accurate records and update patient information in our electronic medical record system
- Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain a sanitary work area
- 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist, required
- A high school diploma or GED, required
- Graduates of a Phlebotomy program or equivalent vocational-technical school, required
- Professional certification in phlebotomy, preferred
- Experience in a medical office setting, 1+ years preferred. Urgent care experience is a plus.
- $18-20+ per hour, depending on years of experience as a Phlebotomist
- Performance-driven bonuses paid monthly
